After a stressful day at work or the end of a night out, accidentally leaving behind something in an Uber is something many of us have experienced.
But you are not alone, as thousands of claims were made by Australians who lost items in an Uber car over the past year.
Uber has released its Lost & Found Index for 2019, which has shown the hilarious items people have left behind.
Unique items Uber riders lost include bacon, two wedding gowns and a wedding ring, a pork roast and a shopping trolley.
One person even left behind their friend, then claimed them as lost.

There were plenty of other obscure items featured, such as an adult toy, which made an appearance on this same list in 2017.
Someone also lost a friend, while another reported a child as missing.
The unusual items don't end there as underwear, fake teeth, several mouth retainers, a cake, a drone, a Violin and a single chilli were all on the list.
Unsurprisingly, the number item that was most often left in an Uber was a mobile phone, with the wallet taking second place and keys taking out third.

These are followed by things such as bags, clothing, glasses, headphones, jewellery and makeup, vapes and passports.
Saturday was the most popular day of the week to lose items and 26 June saw the most incidents in a single day, indicating that Australians clearly can't cope with the cold weather.
The most common time to lose an item was 1am, and the Mornington Peninsula lost more items than any other city across the country, followed closely by Perth, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast then Melbourne.
Thousands of items are left behind in Uber rides each day, but if you lose something on a trip you're in luck, because you can easily contact your driver-partner to get your item returned.
The best way to retrieve an item you may have left in a vehicle is to call the driver-partner.
You can also follow several steps in the 'Your Trips' section of the app, where you should select 'I lost and item' and then tap 'Contact driver about a lost item'.
