Another security clearance controversy for President Trump…??this time involving his daughter and senior adviser Ivanka Trump.

??CNN reporting that the President pressured his then-Chief of Staff John Kelly and ??White House counsel Don McGahn to give Ivanka a security clearance.

??Both Kelly and McGahn were against this idea and raised their concerns.

??This comes after a New York Times report that said Trump ordered Kelly to give his ??son-in-law Jared Kushner a top security clearance against recommendations from the intelligence community.

??Trump has denied any involvement with the clearances, telling the Times quote, “I was never involved with his security...I know that there was issues back and forth about security for -- for numerous people actually, but I don’t want to get involved in that stuff.” ??This latest report also goes against Ivanka’s denial in February on ABC News where she said her father had no involvement in her or her husband’s clearances.
