Delhi: Fire breaks out at CGO complex; 1 dead

NEW DELHI: At least one person died as a major fire broke out at the Pandit Deen Dayal Antodaya Bhawan at the CGO complex in South Delhi on Wednesday morning.
The CISF sub-inspector who got injured later succumbed to wounds.
Meabnwhile, 24 fire tenders have been pressed into service to control the flames.
Fire officials say that they received a call around 8.24am. They say that the fire broke out from the 5th floor of the building and spread upwards.
The floor houses the office of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and disability.
It's an eleven-storey building, hence high rise cranes have also been moved to the site.
The fire was brough under control and the cooling process was going on.
