A fire broke out on the fifth floor of Pandit Deendayal Antyodaya Bhawan at CGO Complex in New Delhi on Wednesday(March 6) morning.
Around 24 fire tenders are present at the Pandit Deendayal Antyodaya Bhawan, CGO Complex. A call about the fire was received at 8:34 am.
According to reports, one Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) Inspector got unconscious in the fire incident. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and is out of danger.

Many Central offices are located inside the building including a branch of Air Force, Ministry of drinking water and sanitation, Ministry of Forest. The building was known as Paryavaran Bhawan earlier. The fire may have been caused due to short circuit.
Earlier, in February a massive fire broke out at Hotel Arpit Palace in Delhi's Karol Bagh area leaving 17 people dead.
