The heavy rains in California may be good for preventing droughts, but one duck isn’t so happy.
Video shows a duck getting sucked down the 200ft deep Glory Hole at Lake Berryessa in Napa Valley on Tuesday morning.
In the video, the Glory Hole is seen in the overflowing lake, which channels excess water from the reservoir to a creek down below.
The overflow was the result of heavy rains which drenched Northern California in recent weeks, according to SFGate.com.
This was only the second time in 12 years that the Glory Hole was overflowing.

The poor duck didn't stand a chance as it plunged 200ft downward into the hole
The video, which was posted to Facebook, shows a lone duck aimlessly be swept into the hole, apparently unaware of what awaited it.
‘Duck took a wild ride but did make it out on the other side,’ the caption on the Facebook video read.
While the public is hopeful that the duck survived, chances are it did not, according to experts.
Brionna Ruff, the spokesperson for the Bureau of Reclamation, which owns the spillway, said it is unlikely the duck could have survived that precipitous a fall.
‘From what I understand that water is going down really fast and when things come out the other side... I don't want to get really graphic,’ said Ruff.

Not only was the duck at the mercy of gravity, but it also would have had to survive the intense water pressure.
‘The chances do not look good for the ducky,’ Ruff said.
In 1997, a woman fell into the Glory Hole and did not survive the 200ft drop, at the bottom of which is an 8ft-wide pipe that routes water down a creek.
