Five watch-and-act warnings remain in place around Victoria, including the Bunyip, Dargo and Yinnar South blazes.
Warnings were downgraded for two out-of-control bushfires in the state's east after they flared up yesterday afternoon and raced towards several townships.
An emergency warning for the Black Creek Snake fire north-west of Dargo was issued just after 2pm and updated just before 6pm, while an emergency warning was also issued for the Licola fire about 4pm.
Both were downgraded shortly after 8pm to watch and act alerts.
Cool weather should assist fire crews to contain blazes today.
