Textiles Minister Smriti Irani to inspire women at New India Women's Conclave in Surat

March 8 is celebrated at International women's Day across the world by women and men alike to celebrate the power and contribution of modern women .
Gr8 Weekender is an effort by Surtis to celebrate the power of womanhood and empower the community to unite through sport, art and music. The event will be launched with New India Women's Conclave where Textiles Minister Mrs Smriti Irani will interact with women from various backgrounds and inspire them to achieve their goals and walk on the path of success and independence. Gr8 talk with Mrs Irani will take place at VNSGU Convention Hall on March 6, 6:15 pm.
The three-day event will include all-women fun run of 4 km and 8 km, where more than 2000 women from age of 7 to 70 will participate and support the cause of "Strong Women - Strong Nation". Surtis believe women are the cornerstone of a better, stronger and more compassionate society. By contributing equally to the progress of New India, the modern Indian woman is redifining the roles of women in the society. A strong and empowered woman with lead to strong family , society and nation.
