Madrassa teacher beats up boy, held
TNN | Mar 7, 2019, 04:58 ISTHubballi: A teacher of a madarassa was arrested here on Wednesday for allegedly beating up an eight-year-old boy for not reading Hadis properly. The video of the accused throwing the boy has gone viral on social media.
In her complaint, the boy’s mother stated that Saleem Muslim assaulted the boy on February 27. “As my son could not read the Hadis properly, the teacher lifted him and threw him. We came to know about it only after some boys recorded it and showed it to me,” she added. Old Hubballi police have filed a case. TNN
