RANCHI/JAMSHEDPUR: Jharkhand BJP chief Laxman Gilua on Monday said the Balakot air strike has improved his party’s prospects in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

This comes days after former Karnataka CM B S Yeddyurappa left BJP red-faced by claiming that the saffron party would win 22 seats in the southern state because of the IAF operation.

“The doubts about BJP’s return to power are no longer there and we are going to win all 14 parliamentary seats in the state,” Gilua said. The main opposition, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, described BJP’s motives as ‘dangerous’. TNN
