Ready to make any sacrifice for alliance with AAP: Dushyant Chautala

CHANDIGARH: Hisar MP and leader of newly formed Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) Dushyant Chautala on Monday seemed to be changing his stance on tie up with the AAP once again. While AAP Haryana chief Navin Jaihind had declared that the alliance talks had ended because JJP was asking for too many seats, Dushyant too had accused AAP of putting undue pressure and conditions. However, on Monday the young MP showered praises on Delhi chief minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal saying that he was ready to sacrifice some seats in the negotiations for alliance with them in the interest of the state.
He said that his outfit was open for alliance with any party except BJP and the Congress. Dushyant also made it clear that there was no scope of reconciliation with the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD).
Interacting with mediapersons at the Chandigarh Press Club on completion of his tenure as youngest MP in 16th Lok Sabha, Dushyant said that one Union minister and two Haryana ministers were among the beneficial, along with other realtors, of the amendment in the Punjab Land Preservation Act (PLPA).
On reconciliation with INLD
There is no scope of any reconciliation with INLD because we have moved ahead with a strong team of JJP, which is growing every day. Those who called us 'bachon ki party' (kids' outfit) have already received the reply in Jind bypoll. Relations with the family members are intact and cannot be severed but there is no chance of looking back now on political front. If somebody from INLD wants to join us, a decision will be taken only after discussing with our cadre.
On grandfather O P Chautala's allegations of not meeting him
I met my grandfather thrice after parting ways with INLD. During one of the meetings, my father Abhay Singh Chautala and my elder 'bua' (aunt) were also present there. I also met him when he was admitted to hospital recently. My meetings with him are personal, not political. I will continue to meet him unless I am restrained.
On alliance with AAP
A three-member committee has been constituted by JJP for negotiations with political parties for alliance in upcoming polls. I only heard on social media that our negotiations with AAP has come to an end because of some conditions by JJP. I want to make it clear that I have huge respect for Arvind Kejriwal and any condition of seat sharing would not come in the way of an alliance. I am ready for any sacrifice in the interest of the state.
On continuation of Abhay as leader of opposition
After my expulsion, INLD had written to Lok Sabha speaker that Dushyant in no more their MP and Sirsa MP Charanjit Rori would be the leader of the party's parliamentary board in my place. Why they have not shown such courage in Haryana assembly to dislodge four INLD MLAs who have joined JJP. (Indirectly referring to Abhay Chautala) some people greedy of government provided guards and special facilities as leader of opposition cannot afford to do so. Our MLAs will not stand with him (Abhay) in the assembly.
On JJP's preparations for state assembly polls
Haryana has around 1.72 crore voters and over 90% of them are less than the age of 45-years for whom employment and education are major issues. Our focus would be on their needs. Our party is fully organized in a short span and would revolutionize in state's politics like what done by Biju Janata Dal (BJP) in Orissa, Assam Gan Parishad (AGP) in Assam, Telugu Desham Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh and AAP in Delhi.
On contesting parliamentary elections
At present, my preference would be to contest the parliamentary election. But it would depend on the circumstances and decision of the party.
