Stable relationship! The adorable moment a koala and two horses become firm friends on an Aussie farm
- Heartwarming footage has emerged that shows a horse greeting a koala
- The little koala might have been dwarfed by the horse but he still showed no fear
- Many koalas are ending up displaced due to government's urban developments
The adorable moment a koala made friends with two horses on an Aussie farm has been caught on camera.
A video of the unlikely meeting shows the curious koala lazing in a paddock at Coomera, Queensland, before receiving a warm welcome from the horses on Saturday morning.
While the exact reason why the koala ended up in the paddock remains unclear, the furry critter showed no sign of distress when he was approached by the first horse.

Babysitter Alma Mendo, 35, who feared for the koala's safety, captured the video of the three animals getting acquainted with each other.
In the video, the curious horse appears to give the little koala a sniff and a gentle nudge as if almost encouraging him to make his way back to safety and shelter.
But the koala seems content just sitting and interacting with the palomino horse, before a second bay horse also comes over to greet the intruder.
Alma, originally from Mexico but now based in Brisbane, said: 'At first I was worried when the horse got close that he might hurt him, but they seemed so friendly.
'At first the horse was definitely thinking "who is this little guy in our backyard?"
'But as soon as they came up it was so gentle, the koala even gave him a kiss.'
The region's koala population has recently taken a huge blow due to a Queensland Government bid to relocate the Aussie icon's habitat to make way for urban developments.
The loss of trees makes the rare encounter all the more remarkable.
Whether the little koala was recently orphaned, or had simply lost his way home, it appears the paternal instinct of the horses kicked in at the right time.
Alma said: 'I was so lucky I got to see this.
'This is the true beauty of nature. I still can't believe how wonderful the wildlife is here!'
