Crime Branch submits report on Panampilly Nagar firing in court

The Crime Branch has submitted a report in a magistrate court in Ernakulam arraigning Ravi Poojare as the key accused in the Panampilly Nagar beauty parlour firing case. The agency has charged Poojare with criminal conspiracy, extortion and criminal intimidation, among other charges. However, no arrests have been made in the case.

It was on December 15 last year that two unidentified assailants fired at the beauty parlour functioning in Panampilly Nagar. No one was hurt in the incident. The beauty parlour was run by actor-businesswoman Leena Maria Paul.
