Woman found murdered
TNN | Mar 6, 2019, 04:42 ISTCoimbatore: A 62-year-old woman, who went missing from her home at Kettimallanpudur near Pollachi on March 2, was found murdered at Kunjipalayam on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as N Ponnuthai. “She was working in a coir mill at Ambarampalayam village and had gone missing after reaching home from work. Her son N Rajendran, a labourer, had lodged a complaint with Anaimalai police on March 3,” a police officer said.
Pollachi taluk police have registered a case under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code. They have formed two special teams to nab the murderer.
