In Tral area of Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, an encounter broke out on Tuesday between militants and security forces, cops said.
"A brief exchange of fire took place between security forces and terrorists in Tral area," a police spokesman said, reported PTI.

Security forces cordoned off the area. They launched an operation to flush out the militants.
There was no report of any loss of life.
