Land Rover is now accepting orders for the new mild hybrid P360 and P400 versions of the 2019 Range Rover Sport.

Both versions to the Range Rover Sport’s 2019 lineup use the new 3.0-liter straight-six unit with a twin scroll turbocharger and an electric supercharger aided by JLR’s 48-volt mild-hybrid technology.

The new P360 models offer 355hp and 365lb-ft of torque while the P400 comes with 395hp and 406lb-ft. US customers will be offered the 2019 Range Rover Sport P360 in the SE and HSE trim levels, with the more powerful P400 only available in the range-topping HST trim level.

Land Rover claims a 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds and a 140mph top speed for the range-topping 2019 Range Rover Sport P400 HST, which also features bespoke badging and optional carbon trim -both inside and out.

HST models also come with red brake calipers, 16-way front seats dressed in part-suede, satin chrome gear shift paddles and more. All 2019 Range Rover Sport models now come with Land Rover’s Terrain Response 2 and a Twin-Speed Transfer Box.

The new mild hybrid powertrain harvests energy through regenerative braking, storing into a 48-volt battery. The harvested energy can be used when pulling away from a standing start or to help the updated Start-Stop system to maintain the engine turned off for longer, without compromising passenger comfort.

Prices for the new 2019 Range Rover Sport P360 start from $69.795 (including a $1,295 destination and handling fee), with the HST P400 asking from $84,245.
