The beer’s here

The moon is made of cheese

As part of the 2019 Enlighten program Questacon’s amateur drinking enthusiasts are back at it again with an adults-only journey to the moon and beyond ... with some delicious cheeses and drinks along the way.

Under the light of a seven-metre moon, experience an intimate adults-only exploration of humanity's journey to the stars with some cheese tastings paired with wine, whisky, gin and beer.
How did humanity's journey to the stars begin? What does space alcohol taste like? Why do people think the moon is made of cheese?

Find out these answers - and more - at the latest instalment of Questacon's after dark adult-only tasting events.
March 8, from 7pm. $71.45pp. This event is strictly 18+ and bookings are essential.

Rosé Festival

You know I’m a tragic so you’ll be able to find me at Highball Express’ first ever rosé festival. They’ve selected five of their favourite rosados for me (personally) to enjoy on their big breezy balcony.

I’m only familiar with Mada’s Nebbiolo Rose, so I’m keen to try Rogers and Rufus’ Grenache Rosé, From Sunday's The Sunday Project, Golden Child’s Beach Bum Rosé and a Grenache Rosé from Bondar.
Doors open from 3pm with live Latin music all afternoon. $45 includes five wines, shared charcuterie and empanadas.
