Married At First Sight star Sam Ball's most recent girlfriend will seek to have charges she stalked and harrassed him withdrawn.

Akila Ahmunett faced Newtown Local Court on Monday when a charge of trespassing on Ball's Sydney property was dismissed.

She is still facing charges of stalking or intimidating Ball, another count of trespass and one of using a carriage service to menace, harrass or offend.

Ball has also taken out an interim apprehended violence order against her.

The 26-year-old tradesman was paired with store manager 'bride' Elizabeth Sobinoff, 27, on MAFS but went on to have an 'affair' with Ines Basic, 28.

Basic was matched with entrepreneur Bronson Norrish, 35, on the program.

Ball first contacted police about his short-term partner, whose real name is Nadia Tabbaa, on February 4.

He called police after his then 30-year-old girlfriend allegedly confronted him inside his inner-city home at Alexandria and the pair had a heated argument.

Ball went to police again on February 21 to apply for an AVO, claiming Ahmunett had been stalking him and subjecting him to unwanted texts, calls and emails.

He also allegedly accused her of taking his phone and vetting his friends on social media, including deleting the profiles of women.

Police were called to Ball's home about 2am on February 22 when they arrested Ahmunett, who lives at Russell Lea in Sydney's inner-west.

It is alleged between 6pm and 11pm on the previous day she 'did use a carriage service, namely phone, email and social media, in such a way that reasonable persons would regard that use as being menacing harassing or offensive.'

The stalk and intimidate charge relates to the same date and times.

The court heard Ball made three statements to police about what happened between the pair.

Ahmunett's barrister Geoff Harrison said on Monday he would 'make representations' to police about reconsidering the remaining charges.

'There's two sides to every story,' Mr Harrison said outside court.

Ahmunett, who is on conditional bail, will next appear at Downing Centre Local Court on April 15.

Ball began dating Ahmunett in December after MAFS finished filming.

The AVO came just days after it was revealed Ahmunett's real name was Tabbaa.

She appeared under that name on 60 Minutes in 2014 claiming her parents kidnapped her when she was just 13.

Ahmunett told the program she was beaten by her father and kidnapped while holidaying in Egypt in 2002.

She said her brother used to beat her with a belt and a kettle cord.

Ahmunett was tricked into leaving the country and was taken to Syria where she remained in an arranged marriage for five years.

She escaped on her 18th birthday with the help of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Since that program aired, Ahmunett has undergone cosmetic surgery and now runs Akila Laser and Beauty in Darlinghurst.
