A country as huge as India needs high security to protect its citizens, and March 4 is observed as National Security day to praise and respect the work of our security forces. The day is also known as Rashtriya Suraksha Diwas. This day is dedicated to all the security forces such as policemen, commandos, guards, army officers, para-military forces and other persons. Officers and Jawans sacrifice their life for maintaining the stability and peace of our country. Not only security but they are involved in rescue operations during accidents, natural calamities and terror attacks.
