GFG Style Kangaroo Electric Hyper SUV Concept Debuts On Ice

GFG Style’s Kangaroo Concept has made a surprise appearance at a car event in Switzerland before going on display at the company’s Geneva Motor Show stand.

The Kangaroo concept sits on an aluminum space frame platform and the body has been constructed entirely from carbon fiber. Teasers of the vehicle showcased a supercar-esque design, and the finished product is just as head-turning as expected.

For the most part, the GFG Style Kangaroo looks like a supercar. At the front, there is a low nose, thin and aggressive headlights, and a shapely bumper. Additionally, the vehicle has been outfitted with butterfly doors, while the rear incorporates sharp wheel arches, subtle tail lights, and… no rear window.

Despite its looks, the Kangaroo is not a supercar and this is evidenced by its huge wheels, tires, and generous ride height. GFG Style claims that the Kangaroo is an ‘electric hyper-SUV’. We’re not sure how many people out there want a vehicle of that sort but it’s certainly resulted in a rather unique creation.

As for the cabin, unusual is the first word that comes to mind. For starters, there’s a racing car-inspired steering wheel and a digital gauge cluster. Just above the instruments sits an additional display, presumably displaying a number of key functions of the vehicle, and a third, vertical screen sits in the center of the dashboard.

GFG Style has yet to release powertrain specifications for the vehicle but states that it features four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. The Kangaroo will also allegedly hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds before topping out at 155 mph (250 km/h).
