TRS leaders here are bracing for the visit of party working president K.T. Rama Rao to the district on March 7 for preparatory meetings with an eye to the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Mr Rama Rao would review the party position and preparedness of the cadre in both Warangal and Mahabubabad Parliamentary constituencies.
Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, who is in-charge of both Parliamentary constituencies, said Mr Rama Rao would be welcomed to the city on March 7 with a massive bike rally from Hasanparthy on Karimnagar border. The road along the route would be decorated with party banners and flexi banners. People from the seven constituencies that come under the Warangal parliament constituency and 3,000 active party workers from each constituency would take part. Separate galleries will be arranged for each constituency.
Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said the party is eyeing winning 16 out of the 17 seats in the State to gain better bargaining power with the Centre.
