A boy suffered a broken jaw after he was pulled from a taxi and bashed by a gang of youths, police say.
The hunt continues for four males and one girl involved in the brutal attack at Helensvale train station on the Gold Coast on Sunday night.
Police said the 12-year-old victim knew the group, who approached him at the station at around 6.30pm.

The boy fled to a nearby taxi rank and tried to escape in a waiting cab before the four male youths dragged him from the car and assaulted him.
They also stole his shoes, but failed to make off with his mobile phone.
One of the youths fled into nearby bushland, while the other four were last seen boarding a train at the station, police said.
The boy sustained a fractured jaw, chipped tooth and grazing.
He was transported home by family friends before he was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital by his grandmother for treatment.
Police investigations are ongoing.
