The puppy was reunited with their owner shortly after being found
There is a ray of furry sunshine in Lee County, Alabama, following a deadly tornado.
A F3 tornado ripped through southeast Alabama on Sunday and Lee County was one of the areas hit hardest by the natural disaster. At least 23 people are dead and 40,000 homes and businesses are without power following the tornado.
As rescuers and Lee County residents combed through the wreckage left behind by the tornado, a miracle occurred. According to WRBL, a little puppy was found amidst the destruction. The puppy was alive and in good spirits after riding out the tornado.
Shortly after the puppy was discovered, the dog was reunited with their owner, who looking for their pet nearby.
