Mumbai: Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik is a role model for all those who have been holding the top state-level Constitutional post, Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao said on Sunday. Speaking at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai, Rao said for Naik, service to the people was a matter of faith, and his act of publishing his ‘work reports’ made him a role model among governors.
Rao released the Sindhi version of Naik’s book Charaiveti, Charaiveti (Keep Moving). “Ram Naik must be the only public representative who has published his work reports regularly. Even after becoming the UP governor, he has maintained the tradition of publishing his work report, proving himself as a model governor for all fellow governors,” Rao said.
