President Ram Nath Kovind reached Coimbatore on Sunday for his two-day visit to the city.
He will be attending the President’s Colours presentation ceremony at the Air Force Station, Sulur, on Monday and Sivaratri puja at Isha Yoga Foundation in the evening.
He was welcomed by Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Minister for Municipal Administration and Rural Development S.P. Velumani, Director General of Police T.K. Rajendran, District Collector K. Rajamani, and City Police Commissioner Sumit Sharan.
The President went to the Circuit House, where he will stay till Tuesday morning.
