Former union minister Dhananjay Kumar passes away

Former in the Vajpayee government, Venur Dhananjay Kumar, passed away at a private hospital in Monday after a prolonged illness.

He was 67.

Kumar is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

"Former union Dhananjay Kumar is no more," the state Congress, of which he was a member, said in a tweet.
