Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs General VK Singh in an exclusive conversation with Zee News said that talks with Pakistan are not possible. MoS External Affairs said that talks can't be heard amid bombs and gunfire. He added those who will poke us, we won't leave them.
Responding to whether there will be a war against Pakistan, General VK Singh said that according to the present situation, we are prepared to face anything.
Giving his reaction to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's tweet on Kashmir, VK Singh said, "the entire Kashmir belongs to us and it is an integral part of India. The Kashmir problem is nothing. Pakistan has been walking on a wrong path since 1947 but a lie won't become a truth even if you keep on repeating it. Kashmir belongs to India and it will always be."
Talking about US asking Pakistan to clarify over the use of fighter jets F-16 while it was targetting Indian military establishments after Indian Air Force (IAF) air strikes in Balakot, Pakistan, General VK Singh said that there is an end-to-end clause in any agreement, so if Pakistan has violated it then it is up to the United States how it will deal with it.
Further slamming Pakistan, MoS External Affairs General VK Singh said that Pakistan has been isolated in the world community ... most of the countries are standing with India in its fight against terrorism. "When countries will fight unitedly against those who harbour terrorism, only then it will be defeated," VK Singh said.
Hitting out at Pakistan, VK Singh questioned on the working of its administration and said that nobody knows how does it function. Some people say that it's the Pakistani Army which runs the government and it is difficult to say what action will Pakistani regime will take against terrorism. We want them to act against terror because it's disastrous for all and nobody should support it.
"I want to say that terrorism is like you are sitting on a wild animal, but you never know when it is going to eat you. Till the time you are taking a ride on it, you feel good, but you will only get to know when it will attack you. Terrorism will also affect Pakistan, we have already suffered it," VK Singh said.
Responding to whether China will support India's bid to list terror organisation JeM chief Masood Azhar in the United Nations designated terrorist list, VK Singh said that any nation which wants to act against terrorism would want to end it, will support India.
Speaking on politicians who are asking for a proof of the IAF strikes in Balakot, Pakistan, VK Singh responded by hitting out at the Congress party and said most of them belonged to that party. They (Congress leaders) does not want people to believe that an action which has added to nation's pride, such decisions had not been taken during the Congress rule, but were being taken by the present government.
MoS VK Singh concluded by saying, "I would just like to say that this problem (terrorism) is for all and every party, along with the people of India must stand united with the armed forces."
