Free live music and fireworks to light up Point Walter this Sunday
The All Star Supergroup Tribute band and AViiDA headline Sunday’s Point Walter Concert, a night of free live music, entertainment and children’s activities on the Bicton foreshore complete with fireworks finale.
The All Star Supergroup will perform tributes to seven acts: David Bowie, Blondie, Robbie Williams, Dire Straits, Oasis, Madonna and the Rolling Stones, supported by AViiDA, the Perth duo seen on 2015’s The Voice.
Melville’s ‘pub choir’ will also perform for the first time, having been established this year at Clancy’s Fish Pub.
Family activities include face painting, a bouncy castle and pop-up information stalls, as well as swimming in the river, so bring bathers.
Food trucks onsite will include Bantastic Mi, Boost Juice, Nacho Evolution and Porta Pizza, ice cream trucks and a popcorn stand. Walters River Cafe will also be open, but BYO picnics and alcohol is also allowed.
Toilets will be available onsite.
Dogs are prohibited at Point Walter.
