Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has come down heavily on the BJP, the YSRCP, the TRS and the MIM.

Addressing a public meeting at Kodumur in the district on Saturday, Mr. Naidu accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of politicising IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan’s release. Mr. Modi had always put politics before the nation’s interests, he alleged.

Referring to his Telangana counterpart K. Chandrasekar Rao, he said TDP leaders who had business interests in that State were being threatened by the TRS in Hyderabad. He accused MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi of trying to split votes in Andhra Pradesh. Stating that YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy did not know anything about politics, Mr. Naidu said it was poll strategist Prashant Kishor who was running the show from behind for the YSRCP.

The tactics being employed by Mr. Kishor would only work in Bihar and not in Andhra Pradesh, he added.
