Ten new cases of swine flu in city, Surat rural
TNN | Mar 4, 2019, 04:00 ISTSurat: Eight people tested positive for swine flu in the city and two in Surat rural on Sunday. This has taken the number of swine flu cases in the city to 149, including one death, and 27, including three deaths, in Surat rural from January 1.
A four-year-old boy from Choryasi town and a 56-year-old man from Kamrej tested positive for swine flu in Surat rural. Two one-year-old boys from Varachha and Bhesan, a 62-year-old man from Vesu, a 33-year-old woman from Rustampura, a 50-year-old woman from Inderpura, a 46-year-old woman from Kapodara, a 63-year-old man from Vastadevdi Road and a six-year-old boy from Bestan Road tested positive for swine flu in the city.
After discharge of three patients from hospitals, still 43 patients are undergoing treatment as on Sunday in the city. Of them, condition of 32 is stated to be stable whereas six are on ventilators and five being given oxygen support.
