BHOPAL: Bhopal Development Authority (BDA) on Saturday passed budget of Rs 300 crore with a surplus of Rs 89.47 lakh for fiscal 2019-2020. The BDA proposed expenditure of Rs 29942.30 lakh in the budget and earning of Rs 30031.77 lakh Last year, BDA had passed budget of Rs 350 crore. The authority also decided to increase the retirement age to 62 years.
BDA has allocated Rs 40 crore for completion of ambitious Aero City in the next two years. Raja Bhoj housing scheme will get Rs 4 crore. Rs 25 crore has already been spent on Misrod phose-1 and now Rs 40 crore has been allocated. While Rs 30 crore has been allocated for Misrod –phase –II Scheme. BDA has calculation of selling of property of Rs15 crore in Misrod phase-1 Development scheme.
With Rs 64 crore, 40 3BHK residential accommodations will be developed on plot of JNNURM in Idgarh Hills. BDA will start its self- financed commercial –cum-residential Annpurna Complex worth Rs 152 crore.Rs 70 crore has been allocated for Mahalaxmi Residential complex. Rs17 crore has been allocated for completion of 302 EWS and LIG residential accommodation under affordable housing scheme at Navi Bagh. BDA has proposed for development of parks and promote the plantation. Five employees have been appointed on compassionate ground. Blue print has been chalked out for speedy transfer of BDA owned property to Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC).
