Central Crime Branch sleuths on Saturday arrested a 29-year-old Nigerian national for alleged possession of drugs.

The accused, Joseph Benjamin, was arrested at T.V. Palya in K.R. Puram while he was waiting for his customers, said the police. Around 20 g of cocaine, 9 g of MDMA, and 12 g of ecstasy tablets, together worth ₹3 lakh, were seized from him. “Benjamin did not have a passport or any travel documents with him,” said the police. He has been remanded in judicial custody.
