Anil Vij sustains minor injuries at party’s vijay sankalp rally

Haryana cabinet minister Anil Vij AMBALA: Haryana cabinet minister Anil Vij on Saturday escaped with minor injuries after the two-wheeler he was riding skidded on the road while he was leading the bikers in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Vijay Sankalp Bike Rally near Mandour village of Ambala on Saturday.
After the accident, minister Vij was rushed to Ambala Cantonment Civil Hospital for treatment.
While talking to media after coming out of the hospital minister Vij said, “Due to the presence of gravel on the road my Activa skidded. I have received minor injuries as the gravel has given some bruises and everything is fine.”
Dr Satish Kumar, senior medical officer, Ambala Cantonment said, “The CT Scan and chest X-Rays of the minister are normal. He has been put on the conservative treatment as there is swelling on his right eye and cold compresses are being given. The team of doctors would visit his home which would be giving Intravenous therapy and he would recover very soon. Everything is normal, he has just received some injuries on the right eye, right knee and complained of some pain in the chest.”
As per the information the minister has been discharged from Ambala Cantonment Civil Hospital after being treated of his injuries. BJP is organising bike rallies throughout the country and on these lines, a similar bike rally was also organised in Ambala Cantonment by the health minister Anil Vij who was leading the bikers on a two-wheeler when his vehicle skidded on the road near village Mandour.
