AGRA: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president Poonam Mahajan on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the Congress party for "doubting" the armed forces, castigating Congress president Rahul Gandhi for raising questions on the recent IAF bombing of the LoC.
Addressing a BJP’s bike rally in Mathura on Saturday, Mahajan alleged that by doubting their own forces, these opposition leaders were playing into Pakistan's hands. Reacting to Gandhi’s allegation, Mahajan said what the AICC president dubs the IAF operation as 'politics', it is 'patriotism' for us. Targeting the Congress president, she asked, "Where was he when the jawans were beheaded and their bodies were not returned by Pakistan during the UPA regime?"
Mahajan said that it’s always Uttar Pradesh which decides the PM of the nation and that is why she had chosen to flag off the bike rally from here. "We are expecting a bigger mandate than the 2014 Lok Sabha results," she said, urging people to vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
