The internet is forever finding innovative ways to keep people preoccupied by sharing bizarre tricks and hacks.

In one of the more recent viral threads, Twitter users found a very odd source of entertainment and humor in coming up with the worst people could come up with on how they would hold a drinking glass or beverage.

Twitter user Daniel Inman from Brighton, England, started the thread when he asked his followers to share 'what's the worst way to hold your drink.'

With his tweet came four pictures of the man holding a glass of orange juice in different ways to demonstrate how ridiculous it would be.

One included his fingernails dipped in the juice while another showed his fingers barely holding onto the bottom rim of the glass.

To Daniel's surprise, this inspired hundreds of Twitter users to comment on his post with their own examples of ridiculous ways they could hold a drink.

One person took a Styrofoam cup and smashed their fingers through the middle of it to hold it up. The picture showed water pouring out from the edges.

Other people decided to dip their own fingers into whatever liquid was in the cup to help lift it off its surface.

'Y'all still hold drinks with your hands?' A different commenter questioned while sharing a picture of his foot balancing a water bottle on the bottom of it.

The thread only got more ridiculous as people tried to upstage each other with ways they were holding the cup that would not make sense in a normal setting.
