Ten-man NorthEast United FC stood firm and stayed resilient to play out a goalless draw against Kerala Blasters FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Friday.
Kochi: Having already secured a spot in the play-offs, NorthEast confirmed the fourth place in the standings with 29 points from 18 games and will now face Bengaluru FC in the semi-finals. FC Goa will square off against Mumbai City FC in the other last four match.
Blasters ended its league season in the ninth spot, with just two wins and 15 points after 18 matches. While the first leg of the semi-final ties will be played on March 7 and 9, second legs have been slotted for March 11 and 12.
