Two held with IMFL worth Rs 19L
tnn | Mar 3, 2019, 04:57 ISTRajkot: A total of 4,680 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), worth Rs 18.72 lakh, were seized from a truck and its driver and cleaner arrested from Bhujpur crossroads in Mundra taluka of Kutch district on Friday night.
The accused were identified as Mukesh Bishnoi (26), a resident of Hemagunda village of Sachor taluka in Jhalor district of Rajasthan, and Navalsinh Jadeja (34), a resident of Bidada village of Mandvi taluka in Kutch district.
“During their interrogation, the accused duo said that the liquor cache had been sought by a bootlegger, identified as Sahdevsinh Jadeja, and that it had been sent by Diparam Luhar from Sanchor in Rajasthan,” said an official from Mundra police station. tnn
