JSCA withdraws its decision to use indelible ink
TNN | Mar 2, 2019, 06:00 ISTRanchi: The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) on Friday withdrew its decision to use indelible ink on ticket buyers’ index fingers after an objection was raised by the office of the chief electoral officer.
TOI published a report regarding the JSCA’s plan to use indelible ink to curb black marketing of tickets for the 3rd ODI cricket match between India and Australia, following which the CEO’s office and district administration issued a letter to JSCA officials. The JSCA withdrew its decision soon after.
The 3rd ODI between India and Australia is scheduled to be played at the JSCA International Stadium Complex here on March 8. Tickets for the match will be sold from March 3.
