741 students from CoEP receive degree certificates

PUNE: Around 741 graduating students of the 11th batch were awarded their degree certificates by College of Engineering, Pune (CoEP) at the convocation ceremony held on Saturday.

These students had passed out from 10 different disciplines in July 2018. Around 300 graduating students were present at the CoEP campus to receive their degree certificates. Sanjay Inamdar, Founder of Flucon Industries and member of the Board of Governors of CoEP, was present as the chief guest for the programme. Director of CoEP BB Ahuja, Controller of Examination Vahida Attar, Dean of Academics MS Sutaone, Dean of Students Affair SL Patil along with other deans and heads of departments were also present.

The director presented a brief report of the major highlights of CoEP and achievements in last couple of months.

Inamdar said, “The purpose of education is to be able to apply the same to contribute in the welfare of the society and create opportunities for oneself.”

He also said, “In order to have a successful career, one needs to stretch oneself to an extent where you have an expertise in a particular domain. This mastery in a particular domain will help in boosting confidence and in gaining success in an expedited way.”
