The ‘Pratyeka Hoda Bharosa Praja Yatra’ of the Congress will be covering Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts on Saturday and Sunday.
The Congress, which is leaving no stone unturned to regain its lost glory in the State, had launched the bus yatra in Anantapur district on February 19. APCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy is scheduled to address a public meeting at 10 a.m. at the Fort junction in Vizianagaram on Saturday and at Seethampeta in Srikakulam district in the evening. On Sunday, he will address meetings in Srikakulam and at Narasannapeta, where the yatra will conclude. The party is striving to make the last leg of the yatra a success. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel will be the chief guest at the Narasannpeta meeting, where he will reiterate the party’s commitment to granting SCS.
Former Chief Minister N. Kirankumar Reddy, former Union Ministers J.D. Seelam and M.M. Pallam Raju, and party Rajya Sabha member K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao will take part in the yatra.
Srikakulam DCC president D. Jagan, AP Youth Congress president Chowdary Satish and other senior leaders held a meeting in Srikakulam to chalk out an action plan to mobilise the party activists to the Srikakulam and Narasannapeta public meetings.
Vizianagaram DCC president Yadla Adiraju said, “SCS will be a reality only if Congress is voted to power.”
