The latest version of the Toyota Rav4 was officially launched in Spain earlier in 2019, and is set to arrive locally soon.

It is one of the best-selling cars in the world, spanning four generations. The current model has a host of new additions sports even more space and practicality that before.

Right up there

The Rav4 has two petrol engine options that will be available in SA - a 127KW 2.0 litre and 2.5 litre with a power output of 152kW - with a five model range and 3 trim levels. There is also a hybrid version set to launched in 2020.

To date, Toyota has sold about 8.5-million units of its compact crossover SUV. Local pricing has not been confirmed yet.
