“The Realme 3 will be an affordable offering that flaunts the unique diamond-finish design on the rear panel”

For quite some time now, Realme has been extensively teasing its upcoming smartphone that will succeed the Realme 1 (review) and Realme 2 (review). From taking digs at rival brands to releasing a rap video, the OPPO spin-off brand has done it all in last few weeks. Now, as get closer to the March 4th release of the handset in the country, an official listing of the same has appeared on the Flipkart home page.

The listing of the upcoming smartphone from the brand confirms several specifications of the Realme 3. For starters, the brand has started a new campaign called #3stepsahead, which refer to three advantages that Realme claims the latest smartphone has over the competition. The first advantage as mentioned on the teaser page is that the Realme 3 comes with the 12nm MediaTek Helio P70 SoC. Secondly, the company is touting its dew-drop notch to be better than the competition. The third advantage marketed by the brand is  the 4,230mAh battery, which is better than the 4,000mAh cell on its competitors. It’s now clear that the company is taking digs on Xiaomi smartphones in the campaign.

As for the other specifications, the smartphone is speculated to come with a dual camera setup on the rear panel. However, the details of the camera sensors and setup is not known at the moment. The brand has already confirmed that handset will retain the unique diamond-cut pattern from its predecessor. And the image shared by the company to tease the back panel also revealed the presence of the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm audio jack. However, apart from these, no other details of the Realme 3 are known at the moment.

However, the launch event is just around the corner and we don’t have to wait much longer to get all details.
