Party workers pledge to make Narendra Modi PM again

BJP national president Amit Shah, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and other senior party leaders attended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mega videoconferencing programme dubbed ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ at the State BJP headquarters here on Thursday.

Interacting with workers from different States, Mr. Modi asked them to create awareness about his government’s welfare schemes to ensure BJP’s victory in coming Lok Sabha polls.

Special arrangements were made by Delhi BJP for a live broadcast of Mr. Modi’s address. These included LED screens for the booth-level workers that were, the party said, installed at 252 locations across 280 mandals.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a direct dialogue with the workers of the entire country through videoconferencing in this programme, which started at 12 noon,” the party said in a statement.

“The enthusiasm of the workers was very high during the programme at pradesh office. They gave standing ovation to the Prime Minister during the programme... The address of the Prime Minister continued in the presence of Amit Shah,” the statement said further.

The conclusion of the event, the statement added, was followed by a pledge “to make Shri Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of India again”.

According to the statement, Mr. Modi also stressed upon new politics and new system besides expanding the capabilities of the leaders and workers. He said that they should be confident that they can make impossible things possible.

“The foreign forces may try to destabilise us, but I am confident that I can see a prosperous, developed and strong India from this point of time,” Mr. Modi was quoted as having stated in his address.
