A prominent Dalit face in the state, he’ll be retained in the upper house.

Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray has made the Maharashtra health department, controlled by his party, rebrand 2,433 primary health centres and 10,668 sub-centres as health wellness centres’.
With a minimum staff of 13, including doctors, nurses and ward boys, these centres will offer treatment on non-communicable diseases besides other illnesses. Each centre will also have a path lab.
