This Is Why Bernie Sanders' New Spokeswoman Can't Vote For Him in 2020

This is Belen Sisa...she’s an activist who just landed a new gig as Deputy National Press Secretary for the Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign.

??And when the time comes to head to the ballot box...she won’t be able to cast a vote for her new boss.

??The reason?

She’s an illegal immigrant.

??On Facebook, Sisa wrote, “This is really emotional for me.

I can’t help but think of 18-year-old Belen, who felt hopeless and powerless to the anti-immigrant attacks and policies that were holding her back from her dreams.” ??Sisa made headlines back in 2017 for posting a picture of herself paying taxes.

??She said she was brought to the country illegally by her parents from Argentina when she was 6 years old.

??Sisa is protected under the DACA program and told CNN she describes herself as an undocumented Dreamer.

??The new deputy press secretary has been involved in politics for a while now...she served as a page to the Arizona delegation at the 2016 Democratic Convention.

??She told the Arizona Republic quote, “Even though I can’t vote, I can get 200 people to vote, and that matters.” ??
