Man, wife commit suicide with two-month-old son
TNN | Mar 2, 2019, 04:00 ISTRajkot: In a suicide pact, a man along with his wife and a two-month-old son ended his life by jumping into a well in Baldana village of Surendranagar district on Thursday. The bodies of the victims were fished out on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Nanko Sapania (21), his wife Puni Sapania (19) and son Sahil Sapania.
“When Nanko’s father Kalia Sapania (45) returned from his native in Mordha village of Kathial taluka in Alirajpur district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday evening, he did not find anyone at home. On searching, he found the bodies of the victims in the well in an adjoining farm,” said an official from Wadhwan police station.
The Sapania family used to work as farm labourers in the farm owned by Chhela Rabari. “We are yet to ascertain the cause of the suicide,” added the official.
