According to an Administrator of Official MIUI forum, the upcoming MIUI 10 Global Beta 9.2.28 is likely to arrive with an updated version of Game Booster and new Persistent lock screen feature to Xiaomi devices. Though the changelog is not very clear, a partial view of it was shared, which would include many new added features to the software once it gets updated.
The updated version of Game Turbo is called as Game Booster, which comes with many new features including eye protection mode, gesture screenshot, automatic brightness support while playing games. It also boasts of an optimisation function for the game toolbox. It worths mentioning that the newest features in the updated version will be an ideal way to keep tuned to settings without exiting the game.
The Global beta ROM 9.2.28 also includes Persistent lock screen feature, which can be called as a part of the face unlock feature. It will block users from viewing the contents on the unlock screen. Users who have enabled unlock with face feature need to unlock the smartphone with a button and hold in such a way to avoid the face being framed for viewing notifications. But using the newly added Persistent feature, users can either immediately unlock the device or stay in unlock screen to view notification. They can easily enter the home screen with an upward swipe.
Ahead of 2019 MWC, Xiaomi Mi 9 was launched with the latest Android version and processor including many new MIUI features like Sunlight Mode 2.0, Dynamic wallpaper, Reading Mode 2.0 and Game Turbo. With the Game Turbo, users can intelligently predict games scenes and act accordingly, thus enhancing the game experience. As claimed by the brand, the introduced feature “Game Booster” will also optimise the device and once it rolls out tomorrow, more details on the changelog will come out.
