Couple's horror as they find a BAT inside a jar of peaches - only after the husband had put it in his mouth

A man has claimed he found a small bat while eating from a plastic jar of peaches.
The man's wife claimed her husband had already eaten two mouthfuls of the fruit before finding the dead micro-bat in the jar of Goulburn Valley peaches.
'My husband took two mouthfuls, the third mouthful had this micro-bat as big as a tablespoon,' she told 2GB.

'Oh the poor man, I felt so sorry for him.'
She claimed her husband put the bat into his mouth, not realising he was eating a mammal instead of a fruit.
The couple said they had a good look at the pest once he spat it out.
Photos appear to show a bat about as big as the bowl of a tablespoon.
SPC Ardmona, which owns the Goulbourn Valley brand, said they were investigating the incident.
'SPC prides itself on the safety and quality of all its products, and is keen to understand all the circumstances connected with this complaint,' a spokesperson for the company said.
'We were told of this only recently and are looking into it as a matter of urgency.'
