A Noida STF team arrested two persons of Sundar Bhati gang from Greater Noida on Wednesday night for allegedly shooting at a security guard, the police said on Thursday.
The accused — Mohit Bhati from Kasna and Rohit Kumar from Ghanghola— were nabbed from EcoTech 1, they said. They had shot at a security guard of OPPO (mobile manufacturing company) on January 31.
After a tip-off
“A tip-off was received stating that the two accused were allegedly visiting a factory to meet the management. A raid was laid following which they were arrested,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police at STF, Rajkumar Mishra.
Illegal water plant
The officer added that the accused were allegedly running an illegal water plant in Ghangola village and ₹12.5 lakh were seized from their company's bank account, while their water plants were shut down a month ago.
