Ujjain: A new shopping complex constructed at Mirza Naeembag Marg was inaugurated on Wednesday. The complex built by the civic body spending Rs 1.20 cr was named after Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia. The inauguration programme was presided over by mayor Meena Jonwal. MP Chintamani Malviya, MLAs Paras Jain and Mohan Yadav were special guests of the programme. Corporator Jyoti Rao, mayor in council members Kalawati Yadav, Satyanarayan Chouhan and civic body officials were also present.
Yadav reviewsdevelopment work
MLA Mohan Yadav reviewed various ongoing development projects of the civic body and also discussed issues with mayor Meena Jonwal, municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal and other officials. Yadav also drew attention of officials on buildings being constructed without permission and illegal colonies and encroachments. Additional commissioner Manoj Pathak and superintending engineer Pradeep Nigam were also present.
General administration committee holds review meeting
A review meeting was organised by general administration committee under chairpersonship of Neelurani Khatri. During the meeting, works of establishment, public relation, education, library, law, general administration departments were reviewed. During the meeting, officials were instructed to clear pending matters and advised to maintain courteous behaviour with people. Additional commissioner Manoj Pathak, PRO Raees Nizami and other officials were present.
Encroachment removed
A team of civic body officials removed encroachments in ward number 40 which were constructed on government land. Assistant Commissioner Subodh Jain was also with the team of the officials.
