Woman dies in Chennai road accident

CHENNAI: A 60-year-old woman died when an unidentified vehicle hit a two-wheeler she was riding pillion on at Kodambakkam here on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Meena of Kodambakkam.
Her husband, Kanagaraj, a retired government hospital doctor, runs a clinic at Vadapalani. Meena used to help him in the clinic.
The accident happened around 9am when the couple were going to the clinic.
The vehicle that hit the two-wheeler sped away.
The Pondy Bazaar traffic investigation police registered a case.
